Mangos, Baristas and Christmas at Toast

In December we hosted a fantastic mango infused taster evening.

Once upon a time at Toast…

..a collection of regulars, friends and suppliers came together on the riverside as the sun set to enjoy a night of drama.

Food theatre to be precise as our talented team of chefs served up a mango-themed tasting menu. 

And the drama? Our diners were asked to vote for their favourite dishes. Toast chefs were in their element concocting the mango inspired menu. 

As the festive lights glistened on the river, our kitchen team served up sensational dishes; from charred grilled prawns with mango salsa and Moroccan lamb cutlets with mango puree to mango panna cotta with granola, it was a feast for the senses.

This fabulous evening of conversation and connection has helped us to shape the menu at Toast. We know what we like, but hey, it’s not about us…at least not all the time.

We want you to love our food. To be excited by it. To come to Toast and know you can order that dish you’ve been obsessing about since the last time you were here. It’s got to be right for you. 

The menu tasting came together as a really special night for Toast, creating memories at our long table by the river. The chefs got to experience the reaction to their mango inspired dishes first- hand. And we loved relaxing with our regulars, suppliers and friends. It’s a really important part of what we do. 

And you can enjoy our winning dishes again because they’ve made it to the Specials Board.
