Thank you for everyone who came down with their friend, lover, or doggo to our quaint waterfront café in East Perth to celebrate the month of love.
As we say goodbye to month of February, it is important to remember what love is. This month has given us the opportunity to recognise what truly matters, Humanity and Love, especially in these unprecedented times.
There are five love languages people express and receive love. Words of Affirmation, Acts of Service, Gifts, Quality Time, Physical Touch
And food is a component that encompasses all of that.
Our Toast team love to see our customers form special bonds everyday whilst enjoying our toast blend coffee and all-day brunch. Whether it be first dates, birthdays, catch-ups, just part of your morning run group, a cycling pit stop, and more …We love to be a part of it.
We asked our toast team what love means to them. And this is what they have to say.
“I realised I appreciate action over words. Not that I just love people doing things for me..haha” Natalya Gonsalves.
“Love for me … is Life. It feels like a flame in my heart. I can’t really describe it.” Sous chef Riadi
“Means a hug from my mum…” Anonymous
“Love is a getting a hug from Murphy’s mum” Another Anonymous
“Love is the warmth that fills your soul on a Friday night when you watch the sun set over the horizon.” Ben Kelly
“Love is a Sunday morning… No… Love is when Ben buys me the $400 dollar pair of shoes that I want.” Dylan Salvia
“Love is coming home and my boyfriend has already gotten all the ingredients set out for me.” Apprentice chef
“Love is when I don’t order chips but my boyfriend lets me have the chips anyway” Shannon Ford
“Love for me is the sound of beer’ tab being opened after a long day at work” Sarah Michau
What is your love language? Have you told someone special how much you mean to them today?
Sending out Much Love to you all toasties!
xoxo
Toast Team.
